Setzer and Terra Kiss

So, I was gonna post a Celes portrait but I wasn't happy with it and I kinda wanna redo the hair, so in my frustration, I finished this pic I started a little while ago and decided to post it.

So, I never really pictured Terra with anyone since there's really no canon pairing for her -- sure, you can argue Edgar but he hits on everyone (RELM, lol), even Celes at the end of the game. Actually, when I was kid, I totally thought the game was going to pair her with Locke since those are the first two characters you meet and she's all, "I don't know what love is," and he's like, "I'll protect you!" I can't be the only one who thought that's where it was going, can I? Course, then he meets Celes, and is like, "I'll protect you!" again. Fickle man.

And then, many years later, my brother, in a discussion about the game, said, "Did Terra have a pairing? Did Setzer like her?" And well, I thought, interesting. When the world is ending, he does grab her as they are falling and he does dive down after her. Edgar's more logical, yes, but why not Setzer? Plus, I've seen a few fan arts on DA that have kinda won me over to that pairing.

So, there you have it, a Setzer/Terra near kiss! I imagine this scene taking place at the end of game, after he's saved her and she's let her hair down. The cut is from getting hit in the face by something as he flew down to save her. Aaaaand, I guess she's thanking him,
